MISSION

Our mission is to use art and storytelling as tools to combat health inequities, challenge medical bias, and create spaces for dialogue, reflection, and change.

OUR STORY

Project H.E.ART was founded from lived experience.

As a first-generation, low-income student living with a chronic condition, I experienced firsthand how healthcare systems can overlook, misunderstand, and marginalize certain voices. I wanted to create a space where those stories could be seen, heard, and felt.

What began as gathering artists to create work based on real patient interviews grew into something bigger—a nonprofit dedicated to transforming lived experiences into art that challenges systems and sparks change.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

We don’t just talk about disparities—we visualize them.

By turning qualitative experiences into creative expression, we bridge the gap between data and humanity, making healthcare inequities impossible to ignore.

VISION

We envision a future where healthcare is equitable, inclusive, and shaped by the voices of those most impacted.
